Sydney's Woman and Children

IMPORTANT RELEASE from RINJ dot Org,
Sydney Australia
Sydney Australia - January 21, 2012 -- Today RINJ.org
urged campaigners throughout Australia to keep the pressure up against
Southern Cross Austereo and 2DayFM in Sydney to end the sloth brought to
the airwaves by Kyle Sandilands.
Background
For years the women and children of Sydney Australia
have been the targets of "Vile Kyle" Sandilands slurs, rape jokes and
abuse. Not long ago Sandiland's strapped a 14 year old child to a
polygraph and interrogated her about her sex life , live on the air
until she revealed some scanty details about her rape at 12 years of
age, something her parents were aware of. More recently Sandilands used
his broadcast microphone to attack a female journalist calling her a
"fat slag" and making rude remarks about her breasts.
SCA Reaction has been Arrogance
Southern Cross Austereo's reaction to one after another
petitions and thousands of emails and Facebook messages has been more or
less, 'Get stuffed', it would seem. They are almost saying, "We have a
big audience and we can get away with this."
Now Its The Fourth Week of January 2012
In a release read in Sydney early Jan. 21, RINJ dot Org
co-founder and spokesperson Micheal O'Brien said "There is yet no
victory against Southern Cross Austereo as of January 21, 2012. This
foul-mouthed misogynistic broadcaster is still on the job influencing
Sydney's youth and general community with things your parents, your
church and your community told you not to say or do."
"There are dozens of Facebook groups," the letter
continues, "and groups in other social media seeking to have Southern
Cross Austereo hand Kyle Sandilands a pink slip. Many of these groups we have
linked from this page:
http://www.facebook.com/sack.vile.kyle "
"Our press release of
January 18th claimed no victory. Our talks with the
parties have yielded NOTHING as yet and there are still too many willing
advertisers paying reduced rates on the Sandilands' show.
"Please boycott any advertiser you learn is promoting
their brand on any Sandilands' show, original or rebroadcast in any
manner. Clearly such a brand is tainted and more clearly the owners of
the brand care not about the safety and respect due Australia's women
and children.
"To encourage the abuse of women on live radio is to
put an end to the brand that sponsored such content. Make that reality."

2)
RINJ reports to advertisers any ads
appearing on pro-rape, pro-child-molestation media content, web pages and

advertised on pro-rape content in any media.
