We suggest that this attitude change too because murderers must be dealt with in an appropriate manner. Co-conspirators with murderers include the people who with knowledge and forethought cover up the crime, lie about the crime, and hide evidence of the crime. That in this case includes institutions, nation states, and alleged criminal persons that we know about whether we can prove that or not. We know. No longer can trusted institutions and states be given impunity for crimes against the people—‘crimes against humanity’ in legalese.
This is one of those cases of femicide within a pattern of murdering journalists that will not slip away in people’s memories. It is an icon of the apartheid in the occupied territories. The American, ICC, UN and Israeli pursuits of impunity by either direct action or by acquiescence are unforgivable and evidence of personal failures in leadership that also must be brought to trial by the people they have betrayed.

“In May 2021, Israel slaughtered 263 Gaza civilians incl. 58 Kids, 38 moms and Shireen reported that story as did we under enormous protest from Israel and the United States.
“For this reportage Israel assassinated Shireen Abu Akleh with obvious White House approval. That the USA endorsed the killing is becoming more apparent in recent days and while only a suspicion, as yet incapable of proof, it is an apparent thing we know in our hearts.
“That Israel targeted and killed Shireen Abu Akleh, is beyond a reasonable doubt, capable of proof. The ICC is again asked to prove itself above political influence and act immediately to the current petitions for ICC action. Don’t rest yet, if that suits you, Shireen. If so, please help guide our actions. We are one with all who love you and seek justice for our beloved sister.”
