RINJ Members in Iran voted to seek better government

The two supreme leaders of the Islamic Republic of Iran

Today, Ali Khamenei’s goons are raping and killing schoolgirls and young women in the hundreds in a response to peaceful demonstrations by Iranian kids.

Ali Khamenei said in April 2014, “One of the greatest mistakes of western thoughts about the issues of women is this sexual [gender] equality. Why should women be entrusted with carrying out male tasks? What kind of honour is to have women carry out male tasks?”

RINJ Members in Iran voted to seek better government

“We must all wake up to the explicit dangers of femisecution as the outgrowth of femisecution is the aestheticization of violence against women,” says Dr. Kathy Poon of  RINJ Women.

“We agree with the USA Biden Administration and VP Kamala Harris.

“The United Nations must remove Iran from the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women,” explains Geraldine Frisque, spokesperson for The RINJ Foundation, a global women’s rights NGO.  RINJ is a Canadian Incorporated Non-Government Organization (NGO)  The RINJ Foundation is in Special Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council of the UN since 2017

We do not want an Islamic Republic, says Gen Z in Iran

Remove Iran from the UN Commission on the Status of Women

The RINJ Foundation humbly thanks the awesome United States Vice President Kamala Harris for her outspoken stance on the peaceful protests of women and girls in Iran. RINJ Women heartily and gratefully support Vice-president Harris’s statement of 2 November 2022.

“The United States continues to stand with the brave women of Iran as they protest peacefully for their fundamental rights and basic human dignity. All people in Iran must have the right to freedom of expression and assembly, and Iran must end its use of violence against its own citizens simply for exercising their fundamental freedoms.

“The United States believes that no nation that systematically abuses the rights of women and girls should play a role in any international or United Nations body charged with protecting these very same rights.  The UN Commission on the Status of Women and its members are charged with “promoting women’s rights” and addressing “urgent problems requiring immediate attention in the field of women’s rights.”  Iran has demonstrated through its denial of women’s rights and brutal crackdown on its own people that it is unfit to serve on this Commission; Iran’s very presence discredits the integrity of its membership and the work to advance its mandate.  This is why today the United States is announcing our intention to work with our partners to remove Iran from the UN Commission on the Status of Women.

“To all of those protesting I say again, we see you and we hear you. I am inspired by your bravery, as are people around the world. We will continue to hold accountable the Iranian officials and entities responsible for the violence against protestors.”
Citing United States Vice President Kamala Harris

Note: In an exceptional move, on 7 October 2020, RINJ Endorsed the Kamla Harris and Biden team. That is particularly easy to do in light of the Vice President’s statement of support for women and girls in Iran. Additionally, the political adversaries of the Kamala Harris team are indeed some of the worst misogynists on the planet. Our USA organization under USA Executive Director Monique Deslauriers is 100% behind Kamala Harris. It is no less true that concomitantly, RINJ has been a loud voice of critical commentary on the Harris-Biden team which is a responsibility that comes with this decision.

RINJ Stands by that decision to endorse the Kamala Harris team. Explaining the decision, Board Members told several media outlets that while it was an unusual decision, the urgency of ending the calamitous scourge of misogyny and sexual violence stemming from the Donald Trump Reckless Presidency  compelled members to urge the Board of Directors to take action and endorse the American Women’s Dream Team of Kamala Harris”.

“Voting for the Kamala Harris team on 8 November 2022, is a vote for women’s rights,” says Ms. Deslauriers.

What is happening in Iran

Many RINJ Women (members) in Iran are especially young and part of the Gen Z (10–25) age group. They as a group living in over thirty cities tend to be proactive and structured although in the fall of 2022, communication is difficult because the internet is shut down.

Sadly, among them, have been hundreds of rape and murder cases with the perpetrators being alleged as elements of their government including the Islamic   Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), a fanatical, violent security force similar to the SS of Nazi Germany, the brain-child of Heinrich Himmler, a specially trained division of the military which participated in everything from invasions to crimes against humanity.

In short, the government of Iran has not only been bullying its schoolgirls and young women, but it has also been raping and killing them.

Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps

  1. Type: theological extremist Shiites, military, terrorist, transnational, extremely violent
  2. Ideologies and Affiliations: Extreme misogyny, Theological Femicidals, Shia Islamist, Khomeinist, Shiite, de facto state sponsored terrorist organization
  3. Nation: Iran
  4. Since: 1979
  5. Current leaders: Ebrahim Raisi (the Butcher of Tehran) Supreme leader: Ali Khamenei.
  6. Founder: The first supreme leader: Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini
  7. Areas of Operation: Afghanistan, Europe, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, South America, Syria, Yemen, Libya
  8. Relationship to The RINJ Foundation: a violent enemy since 2010.

RINJ Policy

This sets out the government of Iran as an enemy of women and girls and puts that current 2022 regime into an adversarial position against The RINJ Foundation‘s role of seeking safety for women and children and their families around the world.

The RINJ Foundation is a law-abiding organization and assumes the nature of its membership by being proactive in seeking the promise of human rights which are women’s rights, gender equality, global human values, and sustainable human development. These values should extend to all of the people of Iran.

Concomitantly, RINJ Women maintains the right of self-defence and the right to seek justice for all its members and all women and children and their families who ask for that humanitarian assistance or support.

A women-led revolution against a murderous illegal regime that has hijacked the people of Iran.

Clearly, what is happening in Iran is not a protest, it is a women-led revolution against a murderous illegal regime that has hijacked the people of Iran.

The RINJ Foundation is as usual carrying out lawful activities in Iran for the purpose of protecting women and children including regional women’s shelters, birthing clinics, rape clinics and proactive communication centers.

Nevertheless, the RINJ Foundation does not accept that Ali Khamenei, Ebrahim Raisi who are murdering Gen Z girls in the hundreds as a legitimate government, and both agree with the Women’s Revolution in Iran and support the movement’s peacefull demonstrations and loud voices to the extent of the organization’s abilities and normal operations.

Change is needed in Iran

Notwithstanding that the RINJ executive committee agrees with its members that change is needed in Iran, The RINJ Foundation is not globally participating in any revolution against any legitimate governments and their agencies anywhere.
