RINJ Urges Women In ISIS Occupied Areas Use Mirena Intra-Uterine System of Birth Control

Don’t Get Pregnant

Women and children within the Islamic State Caliphate are not respected physically, sexually or psychologically. Use birth control.

Being a survivor of rape in regions that are part of the Islamic State Caliphate is a crime punishable by stoning and death. Proof of your crime is pregnancy.

Abuse of pregnant women by Islamic State (IS) salafi-jihadists includes violent beatings, knifings, shootings, kicking, stoning, whipping, and sexual violence. You are not safe to carry a child in regions controlled or influenced by the Islamic State salafi-jihadists.

The Islamic State (IS) salafi-jihadists are more infamous for their violent raping of young children and women of all ages than for any other traits.

Even IS wives are continually raped by other salafi-jihadists. The risk of pregnancy from a man other than your”husband-owner” is a risk of death by stoning even on the suspicion of infidelity.

Gaining control of your own body is difficult in an environment where you are a chattel property owned by a man who claims to be your “husband”. Bringing a child to term amidst IS violence toward you and your baby will likely kill you and your child.

Vicious Sexually Transmitted microorganisms are epidemic within the Islamic State Caliphate.

IS salafi-jihadists spread venereal disease that can be passed to you and your baby including morbidly dangerous illness. These diseases will be spread to others by various transmission. IS salafi-jihadists and their women have been tested for and confirmed to be carriers of such illnesses as Chancroid, Chlamydia, Genital Warts, Gonorrhea, Hepatitis B, Herpes,, HIV & AIDS, Human Papillomavirus (HPV), Molluscum Contagiosum, Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID), Pubic Lice (Crabs), Scabies, Syphilis, and Trichomoniasis (Trich). Most of these illnesses result in the deaths of babies even before they are born.

Don’t get pregnant.

Footnote. * The Mirena IUS is a birth control method. It is small,  unseen, always working, plastic T-shaped device that releases the hormone levonorgestrel. It prevents pregnancy by making the lining of the uterus thinner. It also makes cervical mucus thicker, making it harder for sperm to enter the uterus. Your nurse inserts the IUS inside your uterus.

At the present time we strongly urge all Mosul women and teens to use this system.

Why  RSAC Nurses prefers IUS method of birth control:

  • When the IUS is inside you, nobody knows but you and your nurse. It works with 99% effectiveness all the time so you don’t have to consider birth control each time you have sex . (You do have to check the strings each month to make sure it is still in place.)

  • It works for up to 5 years or until it is removed by your nurse.

  • It prevents pregnancy more than 99% of the time. Pregnancy is immediately possible once the IUS is removed.

  • The IUS decreases menstrual bleeding. It may also decrease menstrual cramping.

  • The IUS does not contain estrogen so it can be used by those women who are sensitive to estrogen.
