Mail Configuration

Mobile Devices

If you have a rinj.org account you are in the right place. (If you have a rinj.net account go here.) If you are stuck without email at any time, go to e-me.ca main page where you can send an email to any person on planet earth, no questions asked.

Each email account has a number of features including YouTube membership; Google+ and more.

You can use the following information to configure IMAP with many mail clients. Google will require you to authorizee the use. That process is automated.

The information in this box below is all that you need to know to configure any email client.

Incoming Mail (IMAP) Server - requires SSL imap.gmail.com
Use SSL: Yes
Port: 993
Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server - requires TLS: smtp.gmail.com (use authentication)
Use Authentication: Yes
Use STARTTLS: Yes (some email clients call this SSL)
Port: 465 or 587
Account Name: your full email address ([email protected])
Email Address: your full email address ( [email protected])
Password: your password

Please note that if your client does not support SMTP 3 authentication, you won't be able to send mail through your client using your Gmail address.

Also, if you're having trouble sending mail but you've confirmed that encryption is active for SMTP in your mail client, try to configure your SMTP server on a different port: 465 or 587.

Below is a list of mail clients and mobile devices you can synchronize with your E-Mail. Click the name of your mail client or mobile device to see instructions for setting it up to work with Gmail.
