Free Sabrina Meng: Canada slithers into Trump 5G War on China

RINJ Foundation Urges the release of Sabrina Meng

The United States has reached a new low in its trade wars with China. On 1 December it coerced Canadian police in Vancouver to arrest Sabrina Meng Wanzhou, the 46-year-old Chief Financial Officer CFO of global technology giant Huawei Technologies, and daughter of the corporation’s founder, Ren Zhengfei (see Canada Should Release Sabrina Meng Wanzhou).

According to Israeli technology expert Simon Baldock, the 1 December arrest in Canada of Sabrina Meng is all about a new generation of cell phone technology called 5G infrastructure which allows for much quicker data transfer on smartphones.

According to Huawei Technologies website, Sabrina Meng Wanzhou is the chief financial officer and board member of Huawei Technologies, a company her father founded in the 1980s. That company is the global leader in 5G infrastructure, says Baldock.

The two major 5G infrastructure development leaders, Qualcomm (USA) and Huawei (China), are currently strategic elements of two major trade opponents, the United States and China say industry trade journals.

A road to war is the Kidnapping of one’s enemies’ women.

From all appearances, however, the United States is attacking one of the daughters of Ren Zhengfei, a high profile Chinese trendsetter and founder of Huawei Technologies, which according to trade journals is a world leader in 5g infrastructure development.

Speculation around the world suggests this is a lever against the Chinese to win better terms in trade discussions.

Timing of Sabrina Weng kidnapping is precious

Happening immediately after a meeting between Donald Trump and Xi Jinping the grabbing of Sabrina Meng from her flight connection in Vancouver is dangerous chaos.  The Chinese seem furious.

Trump last week claimed a truce had been reached in a raging trade war that Trump initiated to the chagrin of many UN member nations who fear this as a prelude to war from a White House that is facing impeachment and indictment for its current chief occupant.

According to the South China Morning Post on Thursday, 6 December:

  • Analyst sees detention of executive as calculated act by Washington to improve its hand in [China-USA trade] negotiations
  • The analyst says there could be more such cases during the 90-day trade war truce
