This Spate of Sexual Assault Crimes In Toronto Must Be Solved!

In Toronto we need a police chief who arrests criminals instead of blaming the victims.

Background

Three women were approached from behind and groped in separate incidents occurring between 10:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. on August 16th, 24th and 28th, according to police.

Two of the incidents happened in the Bloor Street West and Crawford Street area, while the third incident occurred a few blocks away close to Bloor Street West and Grace Street.

On July 4th at 4 a.m., a 19-year-old woman was walking near the Spadina Avenue and College Street West area when she was approached and sexually assaulted.

On July 6th at 5 a.m., a 23-year-old woman was similarly assault near Denison and Augusta Avenues.

The suspect is described as male, black, between 25 to 40 years of age, 6-feet tall with short black hair and wearing black clothing.

On August 19 at 12:40 a.m., a 24-year-old woman was walking alone in the Bloor Street West and Christie Street area when she was approached from behind and sexually assaulted.

On the same day at 11 p.m., a 25-year-old woman walking along Bloor Street West and Grace Avenue was also sexually assaulted.

On August 28, at 8:30p.m., a 16-year-old female walking alone in the area of Christie Street and Barton Avenue area was approached from behind and sexually assaulted.

On August 29th at 1:40a.m., a 26-year-old female walking alone near Bloor Street West and Grace Avenue was also the victim of a sexual assault.

The suspect in these four cases is described as male, black, between 17 to 35 years of age, 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-9, with a medium and stocky build. In the last two occurrences, he was last seen wearing light coloured shirt, red shorts, and short black hair.
